Welcome to the Web site for the Pine-Strawberry Fuel Reduction Committee.  The purpose of this group is to educate the community in Fire-Wise protection and facilitate the removal of excessive woodland fuels that currently make our area very volatile in regards to a possible wildfire.

 

 

The committee meets on the Last Wednesday of evry month at 6:30 PM

at the Bruce Thompson Senior Dining Hall in the Pine Community Center.

 

Due to conflicts in scheduling the next meeting is scheduled for Jun 2nd

To assist in the reduction of wildland and structural fire in the Pine/Strawberry area, through sufficient fire mitigation, mitigation planning, vegetation management, fire-safe construction, public education and biomass development.
