You ask; "How is my money to be used?"
The monies collected from private parties by this organization are used to clear and maintain the fuel break around the two communities, re-seeding the firebreak area with wildland grasses for a fine-line fire protection, fund the supplemental brush pickup program for residential property and provide educational materials for the citizens of Pine and Strawberry.
Mission Statement
To assist in the reduction of wildland and structural fire in the Pine/Strawberry area, through sufficient fire mitigation, mitigation planning, vegetation management, fire-safe construction, public education and biomass development.
