One simple word that strikes fear in the hearts of every resident in the Mogollon Rim country.
As residents and property owners in one of the most beautiful and diverse areas on earth, we have the responsibility to protect ourselves and communities from the devastating effects of these deadly fires. The reality is not whether another wildfire will strike the Rim Country, but when, where and will you survive?
A great place to come learn what you can do as an individual or together as a community is to attend the first annual FIREWISE Day at the Pine Community Center. This Event will emphasize identifying fire risk and strategies to reduce those risks.
ADMISSION TO THE PUBLIC IS FREE WITH ANY PROCEEDS GOING DIRECTLY TO THE PINE/STRAWBERRY FUEL REDUCTION EFFORT
This will be a family oriented event with activities for everyone. Let’s all come together and battle the single biggest threat to our families and our communities.
